Well, that seems to be it for me using Firefox as my main webbrowser in the near future. The clearly Social Justice Warrior oriented people in charge at Mozilla (ask Brendan Eich), have now decided to join Facebook and others in the political and media elite in seeing a major threat in “Fake News”, aka news that is inconvenient to their mainstream, status quo propaganda narrative. If they were truly against Fake News, after all, we should have been able to expect their website to start blocking the Washington Post, CNN and the New York Times, as well as any other piece of elite media that the Podesta emails have revealed were in Hillary Clinton and the DNC’s pockets. After pushing the Fake News that Russia ‘hacked’ the DNC and influenced the outcome of the elections, the Washington Post, one of many MSM outlets decrying “fake news” coming out of the internet, is back to once again pushing its own Fake News.
The Russians are at it again. According to this rag and their usual ~Unnamed “senior administration officials”~ (which we must now regard as indicator number 1 of a story being fake news until solid evidence turns up of its veracity) Russians how now allegedly “hacked” the state of Vermont’s electric grid system. A very good article deals with how the media voluntarily helps government and the CIA declare any dissenting views or investigative journalism that deviates from the elite narrative to be a “conspiracy theory.”
How ironic it is that a massive “conspiracy theory” is now undertaken by the governments, the CIA and the MSM about how Russia is responsible for the election loss of Hillary Clinton. The author of the piece explains why this, more than anything, is much more likely to be an actual conspiracy theory. Continue Reading
Craig Murray in a brilliant article absolutely tears the CIA, and the Mainstream Media that presents claims of Russia’s involvement with the U.S. election as true to shreds. There is obviously a lot more to say about this whole issue, going from the hostility and vindictiveness of the overall left, all the way down to the on-going culture war waged by cultural marxists. But let’s keep this limited simply to the pathetic attempt of the left to still try to undo the Donald Trump victory of the U.S. elections.
It really seems that the overall left are busy dealing with the five stages of grief:
The five stages, denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance are a part of the framework that makes up our learning to live with the one we lost.
The “one we lost” in this case being the election. The denial phase obviously has passed when the disbelief of Trump’s victory and of the polls being totally wrong waned, and culminated in what is now the second phase: anger. Anger as expressed in street protests, internet calls for political assassination, riots and violence against (perceived) Trump supporters. And anger as expressed in the media through insinuations that Russia is behind Trump’s victory. As some point (unless the left actually gets what it wants somehow, which in my opinion may lead to an actual civil war), the left will move on to the “bargaining” phase, where they will try to save from a Trump presidency what can be saved. This is going to lead to depression, as not only the White House, but also the Senate and Congress are now dominated by Republicans.
I am not so sure there will ever be acceptance. As a matter of fact, i’m pretty sure there won’t be, because i understand the nature of especially the professional as well as the radical left. Only the moderate non-professionals may eventually accept reality.
Anyway, Craig Murray makes clear exactly what we are dealing with when it comes to this story and the establishment media, and correctly describes the whole point of the “fake news” meme. The Washington Post, the New York Times and The Guardian will reach the depression phase of grief too, as they will ultimately realize their “fake news” meme is nothing more than an actual indictment of themselves, and increasingly more people are seeing right through them.
