Contrary to the claims that the “women’s march” on Washington was “spontaneous” and “non-partisan”, itself quite a ludicrous statement when so many “partners” are involved, it turns out the unavoidable leftist oligarch George Soros is heavily involved with a large number of the ‘partners’ involved in the march.
Also, it was clearly an anti-Trump protest, and not some neutral pro-women march. And if that wasn’t enough, partners involved in the march included organizations such as CAIR, which itself has been tied with the Muslim Brotherhood: quite the “feminist” organizations, these.
As a (potentially former) liberal muslim feminist states in the New York Times:
It’s an idea that I, a liberal feminist, would embrace. But I know — and most of America knows — that the organizers of the march haven’t put into their manifesto: the march really isn’t a “women’s march.” It’s a march for women who are anti-Trump.
About the march’s alleged “non-partisanship”:
By my draft research, which I’m opening up for crowd-sourcing on GoogleDocs, Soros has funded, or has close relationships with, at least 56 of the march’s “partners,” including “key partners” Planned Parenthood, which opposes Trump’s anti-abortion policy, and the National Resource Defense Council, which opposes Trump’s environmental policies. The other Soros ties with “Women’s March” organizations include the partisan MoveOn.org (which was fiercely pro-Clinton), the National Action Network (which has a former executive director lauded by Obama senior advisor Valerie Jarrett as “a leader of tomorrow” as a march co-chair and another official as “the head of logistics”). Other Soros grantees who are “partners” in the march are the American Civil Liberties Union, Center for Constitutional Rights, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch. March organizers and the organizations identified here haven’t yet returned queries for comment.
On the hypocrisy of muslim organizations being part of the march:
On the issues I care about as a Muslim, the “Women’s March,” unfortunately, has taken a stand on the side of partisan politics that has obfuscated the issues of Islamic extremism over the eight years of the Obama administration. “Women’s March” partners include the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which has not only deflected on issues of Islamic extremism post-9/11, but opposes Muslim reforms that would allow women to be prayer leaders and pray in the front of mosques, without wearing headscarves as symbols of chastity. Partners also include the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), which wrongly designated Maajid Nawaz, a Muslim reformer, an “anti-Muslim extremist” in a biased report released before the election. The SPLC confirmed to me that Soros funded its “anti-Muslim extremists” report targeting Nawaz. (Ironically, CAIR also opposes abortions, but its leader still has a key speaking role.)
A march for women’s rights, huh? Puh-lease. Just another cultural marxist swindle posing as feminist. Which, by the way, proves the current enormity and pervasiveness of cultural marxism in Western society. And this is why, even if i wouldn’t vote for Trump, i still sympathize with him. I have instinctive sympathy for any enemy of cultural marxism until proven unworthy of such sympathy.
The state in general is the enemy of freedom. But even within that context, the type of state matters and dictates priorities about which to reject the most and the firmest. Cultural marxism in state-form is totalitarian, violent, intolerant, irrational and a much greater threat to the long-term potential of freedom than any other type of state. It subdivides every single section of society into oppressor groups and oppressed groups and sets them against each other, creating society wide hostility and letting irrationality rule rather than reasoned argument and/or evidence. It grabs to means of censorship, intimidation and violence the quickest, to reach its ends of intellectual totalitarian rule, as can clearly be seen particularly on college campuses. Cultural marxism is the acid eroding Western civilization from the inside out and leaving nothing but moral rot. It is the ideology of insanity, decadence and, ultimately, social suicide. It is the worldview that, almost literally, invites the barbarians through the gate because “we deserve it”. I would go so far as to say it is a mental illness having taken the shape of a political ideology. This is why there is no reasoning with its adherents; why the recourse of its adherents is irrationality, emotional hysteria, shouting down opponents, intimidation, threats, riots, name-calling and violence.
When George Soros is involved, and when ultra-conservative, anti-Western, anti-women organizations such as CAIR are welcomed, you should know all there is to know about this “woman’s march.” Although this does not mean that all women involved are aware they are being played like puppets on a string.
Of course, one has to wonder what, for women on the left, the big deal is of a president that stated a man should just “grab them by the pussy”, when one of their own heroes, Bill Clinton, is world renowned for putting the deed to the word more than once.
For progressive women, sexual assault is oh so sexy, provided the assaulter and his ass-covering wife spew hollow, meaningless rhetoric about women’s rights.
