National Review’s Kevin Williamson believes Donald Trump’s appeals to the white working class are “immoral” because that demographic’s way of life deserves to die out.
Trump has so thoroughly destroyed future of the neocons’ gravy train that the hatred of neocons toward those who support Trump now comes out in the open. Take note of the hatred, of the frustration, of the pure contempt.
Remember, neocons like those of National Review have been all on-board for growing the size of the state, for increasing the debt and raising the debt ceiling, for social security, for medicare and medicaid, for endless spending, and for pretty much anything their so-called adversaries on the left champion as well. Mitt Romney had his own version of universal healthcare at the ready.
So what is this about conservative working class people on welfare deserving to die out? Are we supposed to believe that all this time neocon rags like National Review were true champions of small governments and free markets? That they were truly about cutting down the size of the state, balancing the budget, abolishing costly and pointless government departments, eliminating government assistence?
No, people. What you see here is hatred and anger at the supposed “betrayal” of the neocon wing of the duopoly by ordinary conservatives. They expected, nay demanded, loyalty no matter how hypocritical they were and how much they lied through their teeth. Instead, they got fed up, finally, with this bunch of pseudo-conservative oligarchs.
The elites have always had, still have, and always will have, contempt and hatred for the masses. The masses serve as nothing but stupid pawns to use, people to exploit and fools to deceive in order to get and maintain power. Democracy is the pacifier to keep the rabble calm as the elite goes about its malignant business.
Drop the loyalty (which the elite pretends it deserves) and you will see all the masks drop. You will see what they truly think of you. Hillary Clinton’s elitist camp of supporters (Gloria Steinem, Madeleine Albright etc) will tell women there is a special place in hell for them if they support a man like Sanders over a woman like Hillary. And i don’t need to tell you how the GOP establishment feels about the people that cast them aside to support Trump.
People need to wake up. There is no politician that gets used to power that doesn’t despise you; that doesn’t hate you; that doesn’t have anything but contempt for you. And the same goes for the intellectual class which serves as the political elite’s stormtroopers, such as the people at establishment rags like National Review or the New York Times. Your voting rights serve no other purpose than to make you believe in the illusion of influence and choice. Democracy is the pendulum with which they hypnotize you.
The whole political process is a game. You get to choose the lying oligarch that promises you the most. Sure, you may cast them out after 4 or 8 years, but by then they’ve cashed their meal ticket, while you have 4 or 8 more years worth of damage to society to look back on.
